Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto, after graduating from the IUAV University in Venice and the ECAL in Lausanne respectively, founded the Zanellato/Bortotto studio in Treviso in 2013. The same year they presented their first project at the Salone Satellite in Milan. The collection, called Acqua Alta or ‘High Water’, paid homage to Venice. This moment marked the beginning of their long and constant research into the relationship between places and the passage of time, a connection analysed through the reinterpretation of traditional craft techniques. The studio works on product design, limited editions for galleries, art direction and projects of interior design. The two designers collaborate with Italian and foreign companies and their works have been shown at many galleries and cultural institutions, in Italy and abroad. Among the more important of those collaborations, the ones with Louis Vuitton, Moroso, Cappellini, Tod’s, De Castelli, Visionnaire, Wallpaper, Nilufar and Pierre Frey.

Incalmi is an Italian company based in Venice that carries out research, design and product development for important names in the realms of luxury goods, design and architecture, with the objective of creating objects that are unique in the world for their inspiration, creativity and manufacture. And while its roots lie in the art of glass, since 2015 the company has expanded its field of action to a search for excellence in the most diverse sectors of Italian know-how.
