Warm, precious rays of gold, made of impalpable leaves, have been carefully applied by hand on the pure shapes in grey, machine-cut Bardiglio marble, to evoke a poetic moment in time when light and shadows enter into dialogue. The 24KT. J gold leaf has been entirely beaten by hand, according to an ancestral technique. Its application on such a shiny surface as marble, an opportunity which strucked the designer’s mind, required an innovative approach, which determines the unexpected allure and evocative timelessness of the set.
