Arthur Arbesser is a Milan-based brand founded in 2013. Born and raised in Vienna, Arbesser was deeply immersed in the city’s history and culture as he grew up. After graduating from London’s Central Saint Martins college, he moved to Milan to work for a leading fashion brand for several years. Subsequent to launching his own label and being a finalist of the 2015 lvmh Prize, he quickly became recognised for his graphic aesthetics and distinctive design language. Aside from owning his namesake label, Arbesser is a creative consultant and also works on numerous collaborations ranging from furniture to product design. His love for performative arts and costume design for ballet and opera complete his creative world.

Andrea Bouquet, born in Pinerolo (Turin) in 1977, lives and works in Villar Perosa, in a charming studio on the edge of the forest. Having graduated from the A. Bertoni State Institute of Art in Saluzzo in 1996, and after studying woodworking and spending ten years in several craft workshops in Piedmont, he started his own journey in 2006, by mixing and grafting art, nature and culture with craft skills. While super-technologies like 3d printers and the digitalisation of the design and construction process have been all the rage in recent years, his cabinet-making goes against this trend, as both design and construction are carried out by hand with the help of only a few power tools. For his creations, he relies on his experience and craftsman’s sensitivity, which guides him according to the nature of the medium he uses. In love with matter and trained as a craftsman, his know-how is his strong point. He mixes, blends and grafts traditional cabinet-making with the history of furniture and local heritage. In 2022, he won the award La Grande Bellezza by Starhotels, dedicated to the beauty of nature, with the creation of the storage piece Primitivo.
