Eli Gutiérrez is a cosmopolitan Spanish designer. After completing her studies in the city of her birth, Valencia, she moved to London to take a master’s degree in product design at the Royal College of Art. She has lived in Milan and Paris, where she has collaborated with Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck and India Mahdavi. These experiences have helped her to shape a clear and elegant language of her own, refining her acute feeling for materials, colours and patterns. In 2016 she founded her own studio, where she works on product design, interior design, installations and concept creation. Her intercultural approach is that of an explorer attentive to detail, a traveller with a contemporary and incisive vision who is remodelling the traditional codes of our living environment, with an eloquent and fresh elegance.
Antonio Serrano lives and works in Madrid. His work favours solutions that are given a natural touch through the choice of materials, with a mix of technology, craftsmanship and a high value placed on the environment. He makes timeless, minimalist, emotional, friendly, inviting, complementary and sustainable furniture and accessories, in keeping with a spirit that is curious, open to the world and enthusiastic. It is out of a cosmopolitan vision attentive to the reality of things shared by the two artists, out of a common love of materials and an aesthetic of sober elegance, that their research into form and into the material wood stems, moving between reference to tradition and contemporaneity.
