ENTROPIE

Entropie is an electric stove designed to be a mobile heat auxiliary. The piece takes an innovative approach to traditional Asian techniques of lacquering, with the development of a thermochromic vegetable lacquer that has special properties of renewability, longevity and resistance, applied to a 3D-printed frame made from biodegradable soy resin. As it heats up, this refined and organic form gradually changes colour from black to red. An extraordinary alliance between the revival of an age-old tradition and a profoundly ethical and contemporary concept.
