The gold decoration, displayed in an accentuated but almost casual and slightly asymmetrical way, gives the set a uniform look, making it seem completely new, but at the same time natural and surprising. Contrasted against each other, the porcelain and the gold are both very visible. Thus the “white gold” of Nymphenburg, its very fine porcelain, shines with a new, sensual splendour.
