Double Signature. A dialogue between design and artisanal excellence

La table conquise

The project originates as a still image, a moment frozen in time—a scene reminiscent of a movie shot, the memory of an outdoor breakfast where nature silently takes over. A swarm of bees attracted by the sweetness of a fleeting moment. Silver bees enter the scene and bring their richness to the porcelain designed for Reichenbach, claiming the space and transforming it. Guided by the queen bee, they become the protagonists of a delicate and symbolic narrative, where nature and object enter into a dialogue between poetry and matter.

“What struck me most about Tommaso Pestelli was his dedication to attention to detail and his ingenuity in finding solutions through careful and meticulous workmanship. An approach that combines aesthetic sensitivity, technical expertise and an extraordinary focus on the quality of the outcome.” (Paola Navone)

“One of Paola Navone’s ideas related to the theme of bees, which is particularly dear to me. For years, we have been concerned with the protection of this precious insect. The main challenge was to combine our organic, lively and sculptural style with an essential, cool and contemporary line. We developed the idea of a silver honeycomb, which starts from the central cup and develops towards the upper and lower plates. Our aim was to make each element usable individually, while maintaining a unified appearance when reassembled—the honeycomb had to embrace the various ceramic levels so harmoniously that the three elements would not be perceived as separate...” (Tommaso Pestelli)

With thanks to Reichenbach for the porcelain bowls from the EGGS collection.
