Lido

A collection of three lamps, evoking some iconic aspects of Venice: light, water, reflections, but also the straw hats that the bathers use on the Lido beach. The free standing lamp is a tribute to the terra ferma: from the solid base a curved metallic element emerges, echoing the sinuous forms of the canals and sustaining the hat. Externally treated with a matte finishing (whose texture evoke the facades of the Venetian palazzos), it reveals a geometric decoration, realised in fused glass canes. The suspended lamp recalls the tones of the lagoon, with a contrast between the sober, scabrous external part and the shining internal side, with its tones of blue and green enlightened by the insertion of silver, gold and white gold elements. The table lamp is a tribute to the ever-changing ray of lights that envelop Venice.
