Double Signature. A dialogue between design and artisanal excellence

The technique is called “contemporary direct”: direct because the tesserae are placed directly on the support, contemporary because it follows a soft trend which creates flow between the rows of the tesserae, the lines merge into one another naturally and coherently inspired by the idea of metamorphosis. The smooth and brushed surfaces, the square tesserae and the predominance of natural materials create a strong and direct connection with Roman mosaics. The bench is composed offine Venetian enamels, ecological enamels and varieties of marble obtained from offcuts. The support, as well as the base and the load-bearing structure is made of stainless steel, and plastic, deriving from waste, in keeping with the project’s special attention to sustainability.
