OSTIA

A set of four stools/low tables in stone inspired by Roman antiquity and Greek ruins. The idea of the column is the starting point for formal and productive research, starting from the deformation of the column itself, through the study of a weave and the desire to work with a sustainable approach. Working on the concept of repair, mixing materials and colours, using smaller cuts and leftover stones, the artisan can ennoble and recycle different stones, giving them new life. The stones selected compose various shapes that are organically combined to create a landscape, a more complex surface or sculptural seating system. A precious and unexpected object made up of pieces, the connection of which disappears once the weave has been applied. All the waste is salvaged to create other objects.
