OUTDOOR COPPER BENCH

The project is an outdoor copper bench that is simple and functional, with sleek lines, designed to exalt the beauty of the material. Soft, ductile and malleable, copper is the first metal to have been used by man. It has an excellent resistance to corrosion and a patina forms naturally on its surface, changing its colour to dark brown/black in normal atmospheric conditions. With time, a green patina forms on the metal, with an intensity that is variable depending on where and how the surface is exposed. The design is absolutely functional and utilitarian. The holes allow rainwater to drain off. The focus is on the material, which changes its appearance according to its environment.
