Uros Mihic and Caterina Crepax meet in the streets of their “polis”. He creates the volumes, like an urban landscape designer, selecting the balance of full and empty spaces as if they were buildings, squares, water ponds. She handles the materials, dressing up the surfaces, ensuring they are eloquent to the eyes and to the touch. The result is a geometry dressed in soft, precious paper. The buildings are multifunctional containers: vases, trays, boxes, shelves, book holders, fruit stands. The squares and the streets are mirrors, panels for magnets, connectors. Like an ancient Greek polis, the pieces reflect the natural order of the universe and the geometric perfection of nature.
